Fillers are substances that have a "filling" character.
In recent years, hyaluronic acid has gained acceptance due to its high product safety, its compatibility as a substance produced naturally in the body, and its precise controllability of results. Basically, this is a sugar molecule which, depending on the degree of crosslinking in a complex manufacturing process, can bind different amounts of water and thus have different viscosities.

Various effects are derived from this:

1. Refill: People lose massive volume in selected areas of the face as part of the individual aging process. This volume can be restored with viscous hyaluronic acids. The water-binding effect is also reflected in a more radiant, firmer skin.
   Examples: Nasolabial folds, marionette wrinkles, tear trough, chin, mouth region, hollow cheeks, back of the hand as well as scarred wrinkles or volume loss in fatty tissue, the extent of which represents a significant psychological burden for our valued patients.
2. ModelingStructures can be specifically modeled with hyaluronic acids of different strengths - depending on the region - to change silhouettes and contours.
   Examples: Cheekbones, lips, chin, jawline (jawline).
3. SkinboosterUsing very liquid hyaluronic acids with antioxidants, trace elements, vitamins and minerals, the skin texture and appearance can be made plumper and more radiant without making the treated area more "voluminous".
   The result is a wonderful "glow".
   Examples: entire face, neck, décolleté.

Rhinoplasty: International literature has increasingly reported significant complications such as blindness after this treatment. For safety reasons, rhinoplasty is therefore not performed.

You are welcome to present yourself for a non-binding consultation at the consultation without make-up. After a detailed consultation and explanation, the areas to be treated are cleaned and disinfected.

Then the treatment is carried out according to your wishes. The hyaluronic acid is gently placed under the skin surface directly along the wrinkles with a very fine needle until the desired correction is achieved. You are also welcome to view the intermediate result and help decide, so that the treatment is perfectly tailored to your needs.
This should be followed by cooling for a few minutes. The result of the treatment can be seen immediately afterwards. The breakdown of hyaluronic acid is exactly the same as the breakdown of the body's own natural hyaluronic acid - to CO2 and water. To maintain a long-term correction, it is advisable to repeat the treatment after around 6-12 months, depending on the region.

Rules of conduct exist on numerous websites, which have historically arisen since the days of discovery of hyaluronic acid. Most of them have no scientific basis. 

Our recommendations include:

• no pressure or manipulation of the sites for 48 hours, however lips should be massaged for 10 minutes daily from day 1 after treatment for 1 week
• Moderate sport is possible without problems after 24 hours
• Avoid sauna, intensive sun, solarium for 24 hours or until bruises disappear.
• No treatments under the skin for two weeks to avoid infection of the hyaluronic acid.

Highly effective innovative hyaluronic acids currently represent by far the safest and most effective treatment option in the filler area of aesthetics. Although hyaluronic acid is in principle a substance produced naturally in the body, side effects can nevertheless rarely occur: 

• Redness, swelling, bruising
• Irritation in the treated area
• Inflammation / Infection
• Nodule
• In extremely rare cases, hyaluronic acid can also clog vessels and lead to tissue loss. In this case, the hyaluronic acid must be dissolved again with an antidote known as hylase.

Treatments with hyaluronic acid as a so-called filler therefore belong in the hands of certified experts in this field. 

The actual durability of hyaluron should be distinguished from the perceived durability. Both vary depending on the product used as well as the mechanical stress on the treated region.
The actual shelf life of high-quality products is 10-24 months. The shelf life is longer if the product is placed in an area with little movement and blood flow.
For the perceived durability, it must be taken into account that the individual aging process also naturally progresses during the application period, albeit at a slower rate. Therefore, it is often useful to refresh the result again after 10-12 months. 
Studies have shown that patients can benefit from significantly extended durability by combining hyaluron with botulinum in areas of high movement.

How do botulinum vs. fillers differ ?

1. Filler are substances that have a "filling" character. In recent years, hyaluronic acid has become established due to its high product safety, its tolerability as an endogenous substance and its precise controllability of results. 
2. Botulinum inhibits the activation of certain nerves on muscles and sweat glands. This also explains its effect. In the muscle area, it can be used to smooth out wrinkles caused by muscle movement or to reduce excessively strong muscles - such as the chewing muscle in patients who grind their teeth. The targeted inhibition of sweat glands is an excellent treatment for excessive sweating, e.g. in the armpits, hands and feet.

A major advantage of minimally invasive procedures is their ease of combination. The preparations we use for botulinum, hyaluron and thread lifting can be safely combined.
In particular, different regions can be treated at the same time. If the same region - such as the eye area - is to be treated with hyaluronic acid and botulinum, an interval of 2 weeks is recommended in most cases.
